Centre Police Department is a 14 officer department dedicated to providing the highest quality police services to our community that help enable the safety, security, and well-being of all citizens. All certified officers are APOSTC trained and uphold annual accredited training.

Chief of Police

Kirk Blankenship

Kirk Blankenship is a 2000 graduate from North East Alabama Law Enforcement Academy and has been the Chief of Police for the City of Centre since 2011. He has 1149 hours of specialized training with over 210 of those hours being executive-level training. His training range from Community Policing to School Terrorism Training.
